]]> I remember meeting Katie for the first time when we were in elementary school. She has always had such a radiant glow about her and honestly is one of the most beautiful people I have met, inside and out! I have always been in awe of her love for horses, nature, yoga, meditation, the list is endless. Katie is such an inspiration to me not only because she opened up a beautiful yoga and meditation studio Be Free Yoga but because she chose to follow her intuition when it became too much and take a step back from renting a space in four walls and instead chose to focus her energy wisely and step more into the spot of yoga and mindfulness by teaching at another studio. It takes a strong person to “step back” which in my mind has only propelled her forward. I try to take in her yoga classes every chance I get when I’m back home and would drive for hours to be in a room with her to learn and frow from her knowledge. Katie was also one of the first people to take a chance on me and sponsored a package at my very first album release show 6 years ago. It’s this kind of friendship and support that makes our dreams come true and I think of her every time I hear “Dream Catcher” play

]]> Miss Maddi, this girl is the definition of an angel! She took her passion for movement and created a beautiful dance studio to uplift young girls in our hometown. The dedication and love that she has to inspire others makes her such a gem and I am so grateful to have her as a friend! I have always thought of her to be a true inspiration and after many years of us talking about doing a collaboration we were able to team up last summer for her end of year recital where I got to perform “Dream Catcher” while her students danced around me. It was beautiful and allowed me to truly get the vision of what my new song meant. The beautiful community that Maddi has created will last forever no matter what creative outlet she chooses to pursue. I am so incredibly proud of this girl and cannot wait to see where this journey takes her!
